I am a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, practicing Family, Dependency, and Circuit Civil mediations within the State of Florida.
I graduated Summa cum laude with my Masters in Legal Studies from Hodges University. Prior to my mediation certification, I obtained an Advanced Certification as a paralegal specializing in parenting and visitation issues.
Having personally gone through litigation myself in addition to assisting attorneys in representing clients in legal battles, I have various perspectives on the litigation process which enables me to creatively assist parties through mediation.
If you are currently going through litigation, or thinking about the idea of starting litigation, mediation will be a requirement before appearing for trial. During mediation, the parties in your case may meet with me to confidentially discuss the pending issues that need to be resolved. The mediator's role is to maintain a neutral perspective while exploring possible resolutions that may meet and satisfy all parties' wants/needs.
Attending mediation may limit the amount of time and money you spend in court. I cannot guarantee results, but mediation may get you closer to where you need to be. If an agreement can be reached, I can prepare a mediated agreement for everyone to sign, which will then be submitted to the judge for their approval.
